Description
Snetterton has undergone significant renovation since 2011 - with the layout being modified using design elements from the world's finest circuits and compressing them into a single thrilling venue with some excellent turns and hairpins. It is also a popular event on the British Touring Car Championship for drivers and spectators alike .
RPM Technik can offer some great track support and upgrade options for the day.
*** TECHNICAL SUPPORT LEVEL AT THIS EVENT - ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT ***
*** FACILITIES AVAILABLE AT THIS EVENT - CLASSIC DRIVERS LOUNGE ***
- Essential Technical Support by a junior technician on the day. This level of technical support is limited to tyre pressure management, levels, wheel swaps and basic diagnostics including PIWIS4 diagnostic plug ins if required - £50 PER DAY OR FREE TO RUSH MEMBERS
- Classic Drivers Lounge - Our more compact lounge with relaxation area, helmet racks and storage area. Plus our refreshments station
- Driver Coaching with a professional racing driver. There is the option of Full Day or you can register your interest in a shared coaching experience where the coach manages two drivers over the day*
- Garmin Catalyst Hire - The Garmin Catalyst is a great tool for capturing high quality video and audio footage of your day, whilst also providing some great technical information on your laps. It also provides "opportunities" for improving lap times and is an excellent tool for driver improvement. Hire includes installation, tethering to the vehicle and removal after the event. Your data will be provided on a memory card to take away with you.
- Passenger Hot Laps - If you want to have a track experience from the passenger seat, RPM Technik can take you out in their Manthey equipped 991 GT3 RS and on some events there is the opportunity to choose to go out in a 992 GT3 MR with the legend that is Tim Harvey (ex Carrera Cup and BTCC Champion). Format is five laps (one warm up, three flying and one cool down), which is plenty for the car and usually the passenger!
- Video log - We can capture some great in-car footage of the driver and the track from the driver's perspective, along with some car-to-car video capture whilst out on circuit. These will be provided on a memory card to take away at the end of the day
* Shared driver coaching requires a minimum of two drivers to sign up. If you book this option and no other drivers register for shared coaching we will refund this charge prior to the event
NOTE - You will need to book your track place and garage directly with Porsche Club GB. When you book a garage, be sure to let the organiser know that you are with RPM Technik so they can group all the garages together when they allocate.
